Step 2 - Interviews

We will arrange for you to interview potential candidates in the most suitable way for your requirements. If you only need a small number of nurses, you might wish to meet them using real-time video conferencing facilities. For larger groups, we recommend that you travel to London and allow AHR to arrange a full “jobfair” on your behalf. AHR will then communicate your job offers to successful candidates.

Step 3 – Immigration

AHR is ready to administer the entire immigration process on your behalf, saving you a great deal of time and effort. If this is something which you would prefer to do in house, we will provide all the necessary documents including U.S. Department of Labor Forms ETA750A and ETA750B, U.S. State Department Packet III Questionnaire, U.S. State Department Packet IV Information (coordination of medical examination, coordination of State Department interview, local police clearances and pre-screens) and previous employer verification letters. Please expect a minimum twelve-month waiting period for immigration processing by the US authorities. We will do everything in our power to this delay as short as possible.

Step 4 – Pre Departure Orientation

AHR will work closely with candidates in the months and weeks prior to their departure to give them as much information as possible about their new hospital and their new country. When they arrive, they will already know where they are living, how to get around, where to shop and how to access their bank account.

Step 5 – Ongoing Support

Moving to another country is exciting and rewarding – but it can also be a daunting prospect if you feel you are on your own. Nurses placed in the US by AHR know that whatever happens, our offices are only a phone call away. We know our candidates pretty well by the time they take up employment with you – and if they are having problems, we will do all we can to sort things out. If they’re happy, then you’re happy
